About The Competition

Joey’s Seafood Restaurant proudly presents our first Community Revival Project. 2010 marks 25 years of Joey’s Seafood Restaurants in Canada. In honour of this milestone we thought it would be a good idea to celebrate.

Joey’s Restaurants has created a legacy of community involvement across Canada and we strongly believe in giving back to the community. We’ve given close to a million dollars to groups and charities, and in keeping with this trend, we’re going to give away $25,000 more to Canada’s chosen cause.

From September 1st to October 31st 2010, Joey’s is accepting nominations for our Community Revival Project. Any individual/group/facility or charity (nominated cause) can be entered into this contest. Our goal is to reward the cause that garners the most community support– the cause that impacts the most Canadians. Does someone or something in your community need an infusion of $25,000? Do you think you can rally the community in support of this cause?

One community will receive the grand prize consisting of $25,000 from Joey’s Seafood Restaurants to be used to revive an aspect of their community.

How to Nominate a Good Cause

Get the permission of your nominated cause; create a video, tell us your story, add some pictures (submission materials). When you have collected all of your submission materials, click here to get to the Online Nomination Form.

Get Ready To Vote

Click here to find out if your community has entered into the Community Revival Project. Voting period will be starting on November 1, 2010 and end on November 30, 2010. Canada will decide the Winning Community so YOUR VOTE COUNTS! Help make this Canadian Community Revival Event an unforgetable one.
